Debug Focus is a website I made because I a lot of random tech and impulse purchases and often have very strong opinions on them, however I don't always want to flood my youtube channels with reviews of everything that comes through my door, or sometimes I want to go more in-depth with a product without making a 30 minute long video that will cause viewer retention to drop, whatever the case, I have this site now! If you've been in the loop with VR or more specifically the quest 2, or if you've owned a quest 2 yourself then you are probably aware of one of its biggest flaws, in my first impressions with the device I showcase how you can DIY a better headstrap with a pair of headphones, however that gets a bit cumbersome and doesn't keep the headstrap from getting dirty, recently i opted for the quest 2 elite strap and I have mixed feelings with it.
The Pros
the HMD is definitely allot more comfortable now for long periods of time and sits well on my face, there is allot more adjustability and the elite strap is less prone to getting dirty
The Cons
the elite strap can cause the facial interface to leave an imprint after long periods of time and sweat builds up allot more
Conclusion
the elite strap is definitely worth it although I would recommend purchasing it alongside a new interface by the likes of VRCover and such
